I always wanted to be a mermaid when I grew up. Well, I settled on being an artist that paints what mermaids might see and live around. Most of my work is about water, the sea, some life in it and just the movement caused by it.

I am a self-taught artist from Vancouver Island in Canada. I've lived in the US since 1994, in the Pacific North West - the rainy Seattle area. Happily, I moved to the warmer climate of Florida January 2008.

My work is colorful, bold with movement and passion. If you can't paint with passion and from the heart - then why do it?

I paint in the moment without a lot of forethought or planning. I don't like to get caught up by the rules and regulations or the policies and procedures of life. "Paint outside the box BUT be true to yourself."
